Experience

With over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, I am committed to my client's success. My extensive career spans roles as Chief Claims Officer, Chief Underwriting Officer, President, and member of the Board of Directors for various insurance companies. My expertise is in insurance and managing divisions and companies for equity sponsors and public boards. As a captive insurance company owner, I bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to my clients.

Professional Journey

My journey in the insurance industry began with a deep commitment to client advocacy, team leadership, and account management. In my current role as an executive with Lockton, the world's largest privately held insurance brokerage firm, I leverage my extensive experience to provide strategic advice and solutions to large commercial companies. Lockton specializes in dealing with complex risk management, insurance, and employee benefits issues, focusing on improving our clients’ businesses. My unique background as a Producer and a C-level executive has earned me significant recognition, including being named a 2020 Power Broker for Mergers and Acquisitions by Risk & Insurance magazine.

Career Highlights

  • Lockton: Responsible for advising clients on strategy, developing client relationships, guiding a team of service experts, and securing new business opportunities. Lockton's reputation for strategic advice and outstanding client service is reflected in a 95% annual client retention rate, 10 points higher than the industry average. 
  • Willis North America: Recognized as an exceptional Producer and named to the Exceptional Producers Council. 
  • Risk & Insurance Magazine: Power Broker finalist for Banking and Finance in 2013 for my work with financial institutions. 
  • C-suite Roles: Served as Senior Vice President of First Acceptance Corporation and President of Direct General Insurance Company, overseeing all insurance functions including sales, underwriting, customer service, and claims.
